Aztech’s MARIN Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) is an ISPS code compliant SOLAS XI-2/6 application that covertly monitors your ship’s location, course and speed with a GPS system integrated with an Inmarsat D+ Transceiver.
The MARIN is connected to ship main power and is battery backed to ensure that alarms cannot be interrupted by loss of power.
Either of the two Emergency Pull Stations or the integrated tamper switch can trigger an alarm state. Once triggered the alarm will be transmitted every half hour until deactivated.
The system is contained in a NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure ideally suited for the harsh marine environment.
